There's a reason the white shirt never leaves the wardrobe rotation. It's the one piece that moves from the school run to dinner without you having to think twice — and it's exactly why we built Natalie the way we did: soft, brushed cotton, a fine lace trim at the collar and cuff, and a cut generous enough to layer.
If you picked one up (or you're still deciding), here are five ways we've been wearing her this month.
1. Tucked, with denim and gold
The simplest version is still the best one. Tuck Natalie into high-waisted jeans, add a longer pendant necklace and your everyday flats. It's the outfit you can wear to absolutely anything on a weekday.
2. Knotted at the waist, on the weekend
Leave the top two buttons undone, knot the hem loosely at the waist, and wear her open over a plain white tee with linen shorts or a midi skirt. Relaxed, easy, no ironing required.
3. Layered under a slip dress
This is our favourite transitional-weather trick: wear Natalie fully buttoned underneath a slip dress or pinafore, collar and cuffs peeking out. Instantly turns a summer dress into a three-season piece.
4. Buttoned up, for the polished look
Worn buttoned to the top with tailored trousers or a pencil skirt, Natalie does the job of a blazer without the weight — add a slim belt if you want it more fitted through the waist.
5. Open, over a slip or camisole, for evening
Wear her completely open over a silk camisole and your favourite trousers, sleeves pushed up. It's an easy way to take a daytime piece into the evening without changing outfits entirely.
Natalie is cut in sizes 8 to 22, and true to her drop-mates Maeve, Nina and Valerie in fabric and finish — though unlike them, she's still available in every size for now.
